Summer Canopy Growth

 At 2,200 feet elevation, in the Red Hills AVA, we just broke into 100-degree days!  We are casting our shadow this week doing “canopy management.”  This is the time of the year when we see rapid shoot and canopy growth. In order to provide proper shading, sun and wind flow, we stuff the canopy into the fruiting wires.
