Hawk and Horse Vineyards Best in Show at WSWA!

Best in Show ~ 2013 Block Three Cabernet Sauvignon!

Hawk and Horse Vineyards was proud to compete in the WSWA wine competition in Las Vegas this week. Our 2013 Block Three Cabernet Sauvignon was honored with a DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL and was the BEST IN SHOW for Cabernet! This wine is a brilliant, saturated ruby in the glass with aromas of ripe blackberry, sweet tobacco and white pepper spice.  Warm and flavorful with notes of black cherry, cedar and white pepper. Finish is long and luscious. 

As a family estate Lake County producer of very limited-release wines, it is an honor to be recognized in this prestigious event.

Mitch is one of a handful of winners who will be pouring today at the Best in Show and spending the day tomorrow pouring wine at the Octavian Ballroom, Booth 623. It’s a great day for Hawk and Horse Vineyards in Las Vegas!
