Hidden Gem: It is unusual to find roses produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and this one happens to be sparkling, made from high-elevation fruit. The aromas on the nose are fresh and vivacious, with notes of dark plum, cherry, citrus, white flowers, and acai honey. The mousse is creamy with a slight nuttiness. The palate is Bing cherry, orange blossoms, white peach, spice, and good acidity throughout the mouth-watering finish.— Tonya Pitts

More elegant than blockbuster, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent wine. The bouquet is redolent of dark cassis complemented by notes of earth and underbrush. There’s a lovely, silky texture to the mouth filling palate and nice integration of blackberry fruit and toasted oak. The tannins are still youthful but ripe. A wine that will only improve with a couple of years bottle age.
