Hidden Gem: It is unusual to find roses produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and this one happens to be sparkling, made from high-elevation fruit. The aromas on the nose are fresh and vivacious, with notes of dark plum, cherry, citrus, white flowers, and acai honey. The mousse is creamy with a slight nuttiness. The palate is Bing cherry, orange blossoms, white peach, spice, and good acidity throughout the mouth-watering finish.— Tonya Pitts

Medium dark garnet. This is by far our favorite of the 2008-2010 Library Reserve Trio. It has an enticing, multifaceted nose of cassis, sweet oak, and a hint of forest floor. The palate has a velvet texture and is densely flavored and elegant with fine-grained tannins. Still a youthful wine with a long life ahead.

This wine has aromas of freshness, ripe dark berries, toasted oak, coriander, brown sugar, and notes of Sandalwood on the nose; the flavors are concentrated, and Black currant confiture, dried marjoram, and Black licorice are interlaced with black tea leaves, green olive, and supple silky dry tannins. Decant and pair with grilled bison burgers.
