A layered, complex and mineral-driven red that boasts good, vibrant red fruit, firm tannins and a full body. A snug texture wraps around raspberries, rose petals, iron and graphite nuances on the palate. Contains 10% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot grapes. Drink or hold.

The nose is concentrated yet lifted and fresh, with notes of dark cherry compote, violets, beets and spices. The palate is full-bodied with finely integrated tannins and acidity, showing layers of blackcurrants, mocha, cassis and sweet spices. Drink now.

From the winery’s biodynamic-certified estate vineyard reaching elevations as high as 2,200 feet, this is a highly aromatic red with a perfume of chocolate-covered cherry and new leather. On the palate, the grip is firm and dusty, Italian herbs, iron and taut acidity settle atop a mineral base.
